Stay Healthy

♥Eat balanced meals with plenty of fruits and vegetables.
♥Get enough rest and exercise regularly.
♥Practice good personal hygiene:
☻Wash your hands regularly with soap and water.
☻Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue paper when you cough or sneeze.
☻Do not share food and drinks.
☻Do not share personal items such as towels and handkerchiefs with others.

Be Responsible

♥Make sure you are well before going to school.
♥Tell my parents or teachers immediately if you are not feeling well.See a doctor and rest at home until you are fully recovered.
☻Throw used pieces of tissue paper or litter into rubbish bins.
☻Keep public toilets clean and dry.
☻Do not spit on the floor and common areas.

On Influenza A(H1N1-2009)

What is Influenza A(H1N1-2009)?
Different animals may be infected by it and carry different types of flu virus,e.g bird flu,swine flu and human flu.

Influenza A(H1N1-2009) is a new strain of virus that was formed when viruses from pigs,birds and humans came together and recombined.

What are the symptoms of the virus?
.There might not be any symptoms initially
.Early symptoms is fever
.Other symptoms include:
Cough
Runny nose
Sore throat
Breathlessness
How is Influenza A(H1N1-2009) spread?
.It is believed to spread through an infected peson's respiratory secretions.
.These secretions can be released as droplets when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
.It can also be spread through close contact with an infected person.
